FINALLY got the email!!!

Mark's denial email for MD job, lol. Mark had already known the answer after not hearing back from emails and voice mails. He is TOTALLY fine with it, as what is meant to be is meant to be... really, why get upset about it?! I have felt the same way as Mark for 1.5 wks, but it is still good to get the officially word one way or another. He will be emailing the peeps he interviewed with to inquiry if they would like to share any info as to why. He is left wondering if he tanked the in person interview (which is strongly not thinking...... as they seemed very impressed and they did not really ask any other questions than in the phone interviews) or he does not fit their impression of the 'right' fit. While they obviously cannot discriminate for looks or such, Mark is a big man (really, lol)...... but it cracks me up as he even shaved off his goatee to be clean shaved, lol. Anyway, I secretly am quite relieved.... I really love the idea of moving there, Chicago, New York area.. some bigger city area SOMEDAY... but not now.

As I would turn out... it looks like a HIGH probility that he will be getting a great promotion very soon! This is something that has been in the works for a LONG time, as it is a new posistion... new department even.. thus corporate has to approve the whole thing. Anyway, this would be a large pay increase... more importantly it would be the challenge Mark needs and deserves... and finally allow him to really expand his knowledge. Oh, a LOT of travel.. basically living in Reno for awhile would be required... but I can deal with that... especially short term. I can take the kids to live in Cali for awhile, lol.
