As I sat in the Kroger parking lot tonight at 12:30am (technically, it was this morning, lol) I realized something.......
Before children.... going to the grocery store at this time was NO big deal and something I did without even thinking twice to get a few groceries... usually wine, lol.
After children..... this same activity was to get diapers, a snack and the Sunday paper, but mainly to get some "me" time listening to MY music loudly while reading through the ads in the paper.
I realized all of this as I saw young couples pull into the parking lot looking at my likely wondering 'is that lady nuts or what!!'....... as I thought 'you just wait.. your time will come'......oh, yes times have changed!! ;)

I love it how it takes triple the time to get a gallon of milk. I always give my husband the look of death when he asks me if i'm taking the kids with me. Hehe
So true!! You would think they would get it after awhile... but then they are men! I give the same look of death about that and many more things, lol!
amen to this post!!!! LOL i think back about when i used to say to my sister... when i have kids i will never do this or that...and of course... i do...LOL
