Oh, I do NOT think so LADY!

So, tonight I was watching the Olympics... women's platform diving prelims. This Aussie diver was diving as they went to the audience to show the gold winner in same event from Sydney (also an Aussie). The male commentator said something like 'she was not able to defend her gold as she got bet out by the two Aussie divers here at Beijing'. Then the woman commentator opened her blow hole and said "it was just too much to ask her to be ready for Beijing after having her second child". Oh, I do not think so... chick, did you or did you not watch this lady win SILVER at what age... yes 41! Making her the OLDEST Olympic winner (I was thinking in the world, but I cannot find the stat now.. in at least America).


I just thought that comment was so basis and just wrong for a WOMAN to say about another woman. I hope that Aussie (sorry I forgot all the names, lol) goes on to dive in London and wins a medal!!!! If anything having a kid or two makes you MORE determined than ever! I know a number of women who ran their first marathons after two kids!!! Ha lady! LOL

SIDE note... I LOVE, LOVE the Olympics!!!! I told Mark that I really want to focus on us going to the games in London... after all, he has family there, so we totally need to go!!!! That would be just amazing to do!
