Breathe... just breathe...

I am not surprised that yet again we are faced with a mountain of decisions all at one time... seems to be our mo. After a very nice weekend with my dad, sister and her two kids, Monday has arrived and Mark has his next interview with the company in South Carolina. Side note... Kaya had a BLAST playing with her cousins! I loved watching them play and interact.. as it happens so little, so I really cherish those times! After some crazy drama on Friday when Mark received an email from the recruitor stating the company would not pursue Mark, he received an urgent call only a few hours later telling him they wanted an interview after all, lol. I guess they were not impressed with Mark's degree from UOP as it is known to be the place where you buy your degree, lol. While this might be partly true, it is also an easy way to get a degree as a worker professional. Anyway, after talking with my mom about this, she helped remind me that many southern conservative companies look for degrees from 'real' universities because of their traditional ways. My mom had to do major convincing for Wachovia (Charlotte based) to go after UOP loans because of the volume and money there. Anyway, the recruiter basically fought for Mark and told them that they would be nuts not to look at Mark because he works for a major pharma company and has moved up in it while this company is super small. Alas, Mark has his interview today.

While the job has not been offered yet, we cannot help but think about what to do if it is offered. There are a number of things in limbo until we know if we are moving or not... including my return to work or not. Meanwhile, money is super tight... so that adds to the stress. I am trying to sit and wait patientally... but I am so not good at that!
