Keeping my eyes on the big PICTURE!!

Dang, I have cute kids....



With the last post, I wanted to be reminded of the big picture! Some stress now means so little compared to having my family with me. I got a letter yesterday from a friend in Iowa thanking me for the sympathy card that I mailed to her after her 22 month old daughter died tragically. The letter was so upbeat and positive. They have been able to find some major strength with God throughout everything. It made me sad and at peace all at the same time while reading the letter.

Side note... I asked God to come into my life 14 years ago, and I have never looked back. Throughout the years, I have never lost sight of my relationship with God, but I have not remained as strong as I would like. We have been talking aboout church hopping lately to find the right fit for us. Mark has been the one pushing for this more (as he misses a church family just as much as I do), and we were set to go last Sunday until I was up until 4:30am after Saturday night, lol. This Sunday, we will be going to a church close to our house and go from there. I am a believer that you do not have to attend an organized church to be full with God (as I have been for many years), but I do crave a church family at the same time. Plus, it is important to us to have this for our children.
