Fun thoughts for today.....

The last two posts were WAY too deep.. time to lighten things up a bit! Here are a few things on my mind....

~~I want to wish an early SUPER HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you girlie (check this out, I am two days early)... you know who you are! I have been thinking about you a ton lately wondering how things are in SoCal!!! I REALLY hope we can hook up somehow after Christmas when we are in NoCal. K & C say "We love you Aunt Johnie!"

~~It is SUCKING big time with Mark working a second job, but it is so short term.. and I can do ANYTHING short term, well maybe not anything, lol.

~~Still no news from DC job... could not happen this week with Thanksgiving. No news does not mean anything one way or another... as we knew it would take time.

~~We are so BLESSED and THANKFUL for a lot of things.... but this year having found an awesome church, it just makes us more thankful! I went to service yesterday w/o Mark for the first time (totally fine too). Last night, I went to the Thanksgiving potluck followed by BEAUTIFUL music from the choir! It was such a great night... and Connor was loving all the attention from the ladies in our small group! They were all such a great help with the kids! They rock!

~~We got our xmas tree Friday night (Lowe's had just gotten them that day)... so not something I am for as I normally refuse Christmas decorations prior to Thanksgiving... but we will be taking the tree down the week before xmas, so why not. It is a BEAUTIFUL tree, I must say. It sucks that we could not go to the tree farm that we have been to the past two years (they are closed this year after the drought of the summer of '07).

~~I cannot WAIT for Turkey Day! OMG, last night got my taste buds warmed up.. and I just want more! Connor will even be having some good eats! We will be having 10 people total at our house (that includes us). Great crowd and number of people if you ask me!! I love opening my house for Thanksgiving... sort of a tradition for us!
