The meaning of the word "WHY"...

This is likely the most common word used in conversations between Kaya and myself of late! With her 3rd birthday brought her asking "Why" about everything!!! Now, I do true to keep my cool and answer her with a good reason for the 'Why' she is asking about... but there are many times where I say "Because I said SO!!!". One of those things I thought I would NEVER say to my children... might you, I thought this prior to hitting the 'Why' phase of a 3 year old.

So at the same time, I have started asking Kaya "Why did you do (insert just about anything here, ex hit your brother)". The answer I get from her most of the time is "Because I didn't want to hit my brother". This futher frustrates me as I desparetely want her to really understand cause and effect with her actions.

So, the other day I was thinking.... what is the real meaning of the word "Why"?!?! I decided that the meaning in my household right now is a 3 yr old learning about new things and a 30 yr old acting some like a 3 yr old, LMAO. I close with a thought..... "Why ask Why?!"

Mark job update.... he is flying to MD Monday night. He has two interviews in the morning and then an hour long 'seminar' which he is preparing a mock presentation and training session (he even has an activity for all in the seminar to do). He has been working on this most of this past week.... geee, do you think he wants this job or something? LOL After his 'seminar', there will be lunch and then he is going to tour the area with a realtor. We keep looking at home prices with our mouths opened wide compared to what we paid for our house, so we need to have a really good idea what we are looking at... if it comes to that. This move (if the job is even offered) requires a lot more thought than the move to TN (as that was definately a lower cost of living compared to CA). MD is not like CA... but maybe closer now with the whole real estate market fall in CA. Anyway, much to think about..... yet balance in life here and now is my focus! What is meant to be will show itself to us soon enough! Oh, I could still use some prayers... for my sanity, lol.
