That kid cracks me UP!

Here was a completely random Kaya quote.... today as we were walking from Old Navy to B&N after a nice long lunch that was super YUMMY with a super DUPER friend! :)
K: "I sure (spoken with her slight southern twang) like yours face mama!"
Me: (chuckling) "Thanks Kaya!"

It reminded me of what she said after I got my hair cut while I was in CA. I had told her I was going to get my hair cut and Grandma was coming with while her and Connor hung out with Papa (see, you have to explain WHY people are doing with people for things when normally we would all go or whatever... she just likes to know things, every thing... she likes to be in the know, lol). So, I had told Mark that I was going to get it cut short (well, chin line at the longest)... which his reaction was what I expected... not his thing, lol. He likes long hair, I know. Anyway, he expected the shorter cut as I had told him. Kaya only knew of me getting a hair cut and to her that didn't mean I would look any different (as usally it is only a little). Cutest thing... I walk in the door... she comes running to me to give me a hug and says "I sure (same southern twang for sure, lol) like yours hair mama!" Awww..... that was all I needed!!! :) BTW... hubby has since admitted that having it looks good on me... still prefers long hair but likes it, lol. I told him when he grows out his hair, I will grow mine out, lol. As he shaves his head almost bald anymore and does so 1-2 per month, lol.
